Recovery Clubhouse Supervisor

An Addiction Recovery Support Center is a peer led environment that offers a set of non-clinical activities that engage, educate and support individuals and families successfully to make life changes necessary to establish, maintain and enhance recovery (health and wellness) from substance use disorders. The recovery activities are community-based services for individuals with a substance use disorder; and consist of activities that promote recovery, self-determination, self-advocacy, well-being, and independence.

Requirements Bachelors degree in a social service related field.  Must have at least 2 years abstinent recovery from a substance use disorder and is willing to share details of his or her personal recovery experience.

Preferred - At least 5 years experience working in the behavioral health field;  2 years supervisory experience.

 Job duties include but are not limited to:

  1. Monitor and implement compliance with policies/procedures/guidelines for all funding/credentialing bodies (DBHDD)
  2. Engage individuals and families in recovery activities that promote independence
  3. Be willing to publicly self- identify as being in recovery from a mental health, substance use or addiction diagnosis and share own story of recovery as an inspiration to others
  4. Monitor budgets and ensure KPIs are met
  5. Monitor staffing patterns (hires, trains and retains staff)
  6. Ensure timesheets are completed weekly and submitted by deadline
  7. Implement changes in program standards
  8. Complete monthly reports, and submits to supervisor by deadline
  9. Ensure timely documentation by staff
  10. Monitor training records for all staff
  11. Attends and participate in all required meetings and committees
  12. Works in a professional manner with all community partners
  13. Maintain appropriate professional and personal boundaries and be a positive, healthy role model for clients and staff
  14. Racial and cultural sensitivity
  15. Ability to document in Electronic Medical Record (EMR)Strong Customer Service Ethic
  16. Perform other related job duties as required or assigned
